About the role.

Description.

As our Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in scaling Source reliably and securely. You’ll identify and remove performance bottlenecks, strengthen platform stability and uptime, and lead effective incident response as we grow.

Working hands-on in our .NET codebase, you’ll improve the operational maturity of our SaaS platform and collaborate across product and engineering to design high-signal alerting that reduces noise and prevents disruption. You’ll help the team improve scalability and resilience at the application layer.

You’ll also take ownership of core AWS and Terraform infrastructure, shape systemic reliability improvements, and lead incident response when it matters most.

Our tech stack

  • Frontend: React with TypeScript, Apollo

  • Backend: GraphQL API built with .NET Core, Postgres

  • Infrastructure: AWS, AWS Lambda, containers, Terraform

  • CI/CD & Observability: Buildkite, DataDog

  • Experience with one or more of these technologies is ideal.

About you.

You’re a technically strong, pragmatic engineer who cares deeply about reliability and teamwork:

  • Are passionate about driving systemic reliability improvements in SaaS platforms

  • Thrive in fast-moving environments and enjoy getting things done

  • Take pride in setting a high bar for incident response

  • Have deep experience with high-availability SaaS systems

  • Are confident working with DataDog and Terraform (this is essential)

  • Are comfortable troubleshooting and navigating .NET / C#

  • Speak up, listen well, and create space for others to contribute

  • Believe great products are built by great teams

  • Embrace learning and aren’t afraid to step into the unknown
